Brief Description:  Mount the engine

Installed the accessory plate on the engine and set the .010" gap on the Magnatrons. With the bolts loose the Magnatrons will slide into place by magnetism. The shim gets tight, so I rotated the engine to slide them out.

Installed the trigger shaft and tightened the bolts per instructions.

Installed the intake manifold and tightened to 13 lb-ft with Loctite 242 and 7088 on the threads.

Assembled and installed the stator assembly. Using the Loctite should be done after checking for the magnet interference in case the magnets need some sanding. Easier to sand with just the magnet assembly in hand. I no interference on the magnet clearance check, so no sanding was necessary. I did find it difficult to remove the stator because of the magnets so I drilled/tapped two 8-32 "jacking" screw holes in the stator (seen in the 3:00 and 9:00 positions, pic 1). This allows getting your fingertips under the lip without prying on things.

Mounted the engine using the chain hoist setup. Works fine for a one person installation.

Installed the oil cooler. The inboard hole on the adapter plate requires an 8M bolt. The hole size is the same as the others that take an AN4 bolt. The supplied 8M bolt won't fit through the hole, so I updrilled it with a "P" drill (.323").

Installed the intake manifolds.
